Monark started with a simple frustration. Every mushroom coffee we tried was an instant powder sold on how it would make us feel, and almost none of it tasted like coffee worth drinking.

So we built the opposite. Monark is real ground coffee, brewed in the pour-over, press or drip machine you already own, with Lion’s Mane, Cordyceps and Reishi worked into the blend. The coffee comes first. The mushrooms support a cup that has to stand on its taste alone.

Who it is for

People who make things for a living and intend to finish them: the editor with a half-cut timeline, the designer three drafts in, the musician one mix away. Ideas are plentiful. Finished work is scarce. Monark sides with finishing.

Why the ritual matters

The few minutes spent brewing are the threshold between scattered attention and real work. Measure, bloom, pour, then close the door and begin. That is the whole idea.

What we will not do

We will not promise you limitless focus or a new brain. We describe our mushrooms by their long traditions and the early research, and we will tell you honestly what the science says as it develops.
